Surrey Twisters was was established in 2011 by Georgie Brown. Surrey Twisters uses the sport of cheerleading to engage local young people in an active, athletic activity. We aim to make a difference in the lives of young people through activity by providing: excellent training and coaching, structured engagement in a team environment and excellent opportunities such as our junior coaching scheme to develop leadership skills, so that local young people can go on to inspire future generations in their communities.
At Surrey Twisters we focus on instilling our values of confidence, teamwork and leadership into each young person we work with. We believe that at Surrey Twisters, we provide our athletes with positive and empowering tools to transform their lives: Through our training programs, and athletic activities, we believe our athletes gain the skills they need to progress into adulthood and live successful lives.
Surrey Twisters is also home to a Special Needs Programme which is run completely free of charge, also a Schools and Community Programme outreacing to over 300 children a week.
We ensure our athletes become the best versions of themselves in and out the gym.
